Trane Technologies Publishes 2023 ESG Report

Trane Technologies, a global climate innovator, is experiencing strong growth and financial performance while making substantial progress on its ambitious 2030 Sustainability Commitments.
The company's latest Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report, "Accelerating Action for Impact," highlights its commitment to sustainable innovation, positive and engaging company culture, and progress towards achieving externally validated 2030 Sustainability Commitments and 2050 net-zero goals.
Since 2019, Trane Technologies has helped customers avoid 157 million metric tonnes of carbon emissions, equivalent to the emissions generated by nearly 18 billion gallons of gasoline. This progress contributes to the company's "Gigaton Challenge" – a pledge to reduce one billion metric tonnes of carbon emissions by 2030.

Trane Technologies' 2023 ESG Report provides a comprehensive and transparent overview of the company's sustainability efforts. Key achievements made in 2023 include:
Reduced customer emissions: 157 million metric tonnes of carbon avoided, contributing to the Gigaton Challenge.
Operational carbon neutrality: 44% reduction in operational emissions, exceeding the company's 2030 target of a 50% reduction.
Renewable energy: 68% of global electricity demand met with renewable sources.
Water and waste reduction: 26% reduction in water usage at facilities in water-stressed regions and 85% of global manufacturing sites achieving zero waste to landfill.
Gender parity: Increased women in management roles to 25.2% and achieved gender parity on the Board of Directors.
Employee engagement: 92,517 employee volunteer hours logged in 2023, reaching 47% of the company's 2030 goal.
Workforce development: Launched a pioneering skills-based Trane® Technician Apprenticeship Programme, welcoming over 80 apprentices from 26 states.
