Perstorp has achieved gold medal from EcoVadis for the year 2023, signifying the company's remarkable strides in sustainability performance.

This achievement now positions Perstorp within the upper echelon of the industry, ranking in the top 5 per cent.

Established in 2007, EcoVadis has evolved into the world's largest and most reputable provider of business sustainability assessments, boasting a vast global network that encompasses over 1,00,000 rated companies.

"EcoVadis has solidified its status as the standard bearer for ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) ratings in the chemical industry and serves as the preferred partner for sustainability assessments by Together for Sustainability. The remarkable demand for our EcoVadis reporting, with over 100 inquiries from customers in recent years, underscores the value it brings to our value chain," notes Anna Berggren, Vice President of Sustainability.

Throughout 2023, Perstorp demonstrated significant progress in three out of the four evaluation categories, namely Environment, Labour & Human Rights, and Sustainable Procurement.

Berggren highlights, "Notably, we've made notable advancements in the pivotal domains of Environment and Labor & Human Rights. Furthermore, our performance in Sustainable Procurement places us among the top 4 per cent of chemical companies on a global scale. This remarkable achievement is the result of an extraordinary collaborative effort from various parts of our organisation."
