Novanta Inc., a reliable technology partner for medical and advanced technology equipment manufacturers, has recently been awarded a Silver rating by EcoVadis for its commendable sustainability practices.

EcoVadis is an internationally recognised sustainability rating agency. Their Silver rating for Novanta places it in the top 25% of rated companies within Novanta’s industry sector and was based on EcoVadis’s assessment in four categories: environment, ethics, labour and human rights, and sustainable procurement.

Matthijs Glastra, the Chair and CEO of Novanta expressed pride in the company's progress in environmental sustainability and social responsibility initiatives. He believes that these efforts are vital for all Novanta stakeholders, and will enhance their reputation as a trusted partner of successful OEMs. Glastra also stated that the Silver rating is proof of their commitment to reducing their environmental carbon footprint, fostering a positive culture, and improving the communities they serve.

Earlier this year, Novanta published its 2022 ESG Report, giving further details of Novanta’s ESG programmes and initiatives. To learn more about these programmes and initiatives, please visit the Environmental, Social and Governance section of our website at: https://sustainability.novanta.com.
