Northrop Grumman Publishes ESG Report

Northrop Grumman Corporation has released its ESG Report, highlighting accomplishments in reducing emissions and promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, human rights, and ethical business practices.
Kathy Warden, Northrop Grumman's Chair, CEO and President, stated that the company is equipped with the expertise, technology, determination, and creativity to promote sustainability, fairness, and security across the globe.
She added that the company has achieved significant progress in reducing its environmental impact and has assisted its partners in following suit, with the ultimate goal of creating a safer world.
Northrop Grumman also published its Task-Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) Report, which shows advancements in climate-related governance, risk management, strategy, metrics, and targets since the company's initial report last year.

In the third year of its five-year diversity plan, Northrop Grumman increased the proportion of people of colour in leadership positions from 28% in 2021 to 29% in 2022.
Northrop Grumman awarded $3.9 billion to small business suppliers, which accounted for 36% of the company's total domestic expenditure. This marks the 18th year in a row that Northrop Grumman has exceeded the U.S. Government's statutory goal of 23% small business spending.
Northrop Grumman made progress on its sustainability goals by reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 11% compared to 2019 and obtaining 10% of its electricity from renewable sources.
