Ingram Micro Inc. has announced that it has been awarded a platinum medal rating by EcoVadis.

This recognition, reserved for the top one per cent of companies, underscores Ingram Micro's commitment to responsible business practices and its proactive approach to driving strong ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) performance.

“This is an exciting milestone that affirms our commitment to responsible business practices, and our ability to take meaningful action that drives strong ESG performance,” said John Marler, Director of Global ESG at Ingram Micro. “I’m honoured to work with a talented team of associates across the globe whose dedication to our ESG strategy and goals made this recognition possible.”

EcoVadis evaluates companies across four categories: Environment, Labour & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. Ingram Micro scored an impressive 80 overall, landing in the 99th percentile in all categories.

Ingram Micro's proactive stance on environmental sustainability and ESG initiatives is evident through programmes such as IngramMicroPlanetary and IngramMicroESG.

The company has also invested in its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) programme, known as Together at Ingram Micro. These initiatives aim to enhance measurement, accountability, and collaboration in high-impact ESG areas, ultimately contributing to goal achievement.
