Tractor Supply Company, the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States, announced that it was named to the Forbes list of America’s Best Large Employers. The company’s ranking improved to 177 in the latest year’s report from 329 in 2022.

Forbes and Statista have recently announced the winners of "America's Best Employers 2023." To determine the winners, they conducted an independent survey among a significant sample of American employees, approximately 45,000, who work for companies with over 1,000 employees in America. The survey covered 25 industry sectors, and 1,000 employers were recognised, consisting of 500 large employers and 500 midsize employers.

The evaluation process relied on direct and indirect feedback from employees who were asked to rate their inclination to recommend their employers to their friends and family. The employees' ratings also factored in other companies within their respective industries that had notable positive or negative reputations.

“Our Team Members are our greatest asset, so their well-being and satisfaction is a top priority for our organisation,” said Melissa Kersey, executive vice president and chief human resources officer at Tractor Supply. “From consistently upgrading our benefit offerings to introducing new development opportunities, we strive to ensure every Team Member feels connected, valued, empowered and prepared to succeed. Recognition on this prestigious list is especially rewarding as it demonstrates that our Team Members feel we are fulfilling those needs.”

Tractor Supply has earned recognition for its commitment to diversity and inclusion, appearing on Forbes' Best Employers for Diversity and the Forbes Global 2000, which ranks the world's largest companies based on sales, profits, assets, and market value.

The company is also Great Place to Work®️ certified and has been acknowledged on Newsweek's list of America's Greatest Workplaces for Diversity. In addition, Tractor Supply has exceeded the threshold for inclusion on the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index for two consecutive years and achieved a perfect score on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation's 2022 Best Places to Work Corporate Equality Index.

With a workforce of over 50,000 team members and 2,000 stores spread across 49 states, Tractor Supply is also the owner and operator of Petsense by Tractor Supply, a small-box pet specialty supply retailer.
