Tembo Gold Corp. is a Canada-based junior mineral development company conducting activities in the East African country of Tanzania. The Company’s principal business activity is the acquisition, exploration, and development of mineral properties. The Company operates in one reportable segment, the exploration and development of unproven exploration and evaluation assets. The Company’s main asset is the Tembo gold property (the Tembo Project). The Company has a 100% interest in the Tembo Gold Project, which is located adjacent to Barrick's 20Moz Bulyanhulu Mine in the prolific Lake Victoria Greenstone belt in Tanzania. The Tembo Project originally consisted of seven prospecting licenses ((Ngula 1, Ngula 2, Nyakagwe East, Nyakagwe Village, Buly, Mgusu, Iyenze) located in northwest Tanzania. Its Ngula 1 comprises an area of east-west artisanal mining activity, including hard rock mining. Nyakagwe East is an extensive area of artisanal mining with numerous shafts more than 20m.
