The Smart Transport and Traffic Systems project aims to address the present challenges and obstacles that urban cities face in integrating transportation and traffic elements, which result in economic losses and impede achieving world-class mobility rates, which have an impact on the environment.

Engineer Mohamed Khalil, Head of the Technology and Systems Sector at the Administrative Capital for Urban Development, stated that for the first time in Egypt, Giza Systems would build an integrated model for transportation systems and smart traffic for urban areas.

It aims to become a model that can be replicated in new places to help society, the economy, and the environment develop.

The smart transport and traffic systems planned for implementation in the NAC will provide several benefits, including faster response to traffic accidents, reduced congestion, ensuring optimal implementation of traffic laws, improved traffic, and obtaining statistical and analytical reports to help make the right decision at the right time.

The Smart Transport and Traffic Systems project aims to address the current challenges and obstacles that urban cities face in integrating transportation and traffic elements, which result in economic losses and impede achieving world-class mobility rates, which have a significant impact on the environment.

Giza Systems' Sales Manager of the Transportation Sector, Ahmed Abdel Azim, stated that the company will establish the systems by integrating many smart systems and functions under a unified platform, transforming the entire traffic experience from one that is related to fixed time intervals to one that is adaptive and dynamic.

To manage traffic more safely and effectively, big data and adaptive traffic technologies use generated traffic data to feed an intelligent, dynamic traffic system capable of responding to problems and forecasting future events.

Smart cities, he says, are at the heart of sustainable development because they use technology, digital solutions, and integration to drive efficiency, growth, and sustainability.
