ProAmpac, a leader in flexible packaging and material science, joins forces with Sammi to launch an innovative fibre-based modified atmosphere sandwich pack (MAP).

This collaboration is a big win for sustainability in the grab-and-go food market.

Sammi's commitment to green practices shines through their choice of innovative packaging. By using fibre-based packaging from responsibly managed forests, Sammi ditches the bulky plastic clam shells for their sandwiches, shrinking their packaging footprint.

ProAmpac brings its innovative fibre-based MAP RAP Sandwich Wedge to North America as part of this partnership, shaking up the food-to-go packaging scene. Designed for sandwiches and wraps, this patented technology combines the benefits of modified atmosphere packaging with mostly fibre materials.

The ProAmpac RAP Sandwich Wedge uses a cardboard structure with a thin, clear film lining to keep food fresh and visible. This clever design uses high-barrier technology to improve freshness, extend shelf life, and minimise food spoilage costs.
