Neutreeno Secures $5m to Support Firms with Net Zero Goals

The deep tech startup's technology is affordable and effective.
Helping large supply chain businesses reduce their emissions in a short period.
Neutreeno, a climate tech startup from the University of Cambridge, has secured $5 million from investors to help businesses reach net zero goals.
They aim to support companies in reducing emissions in their supply chains, particularly Scope 3 emissions. Businesses must speed up their decarbonisation efforts to reach net zero goals by 2030, but they often struggle with these emissions often because of a lack of primary value chain data or high-cost factors.
Neutreeno uses an innovative research-based system, which helps companies understand how energy and materials move through supply chains and simplifies the process. This technology makes it easier to track emissions and reduce them, even across thousands of suppliers.
Large vehicle manufacturers like Scania support Neutreeno and say that their technology is the need of the hour to tackle sustainability issues efficiently.
Neutreeno is led by Dr. Spencer Brennan and other climate experts with decades of experience. The company recently achieved impressive results for a large business, identifying a 35 per cent reduction in emissions for one of its suppliers in just one month.
Michael Smith, an investor from Regeneration says Neutreeno's technology can help millions of businesses cut their emissions and attract the massive funds available for the low-carbon transition. It also supports them in meeting their climate goals more quickly, easily, affordably, and effectively.
