Iveda Launches ESG Energy Management for Taiwan

Iveda has introduced a groundbreaking Energy Management System (EMS) called IvedaEMS, designed to offer invaluable insights into power consumption.

This innovative solution is set to revolutionise the way large enterprises worldwide manage their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) responsibilities by significantly reducing their carbon footprint.

Iveda has strategically partnered with a leading global networking and communication solutions provider, which serves as the inaugural user of IvedaEMS. This cutting-edge EMS aims to facilitate ESG compliance for large enterprises, aligning them with global sustainability standards.

Amid the pressing climate change crisis, organisations across the globe are increasingly focusing on their environmental impact and the need for sustainable business practices.

ESG assets have grown to be worth trillions of dollars in recent years, and industry experts predict that this sector will reach a staggering $53 trillion by 2025.

By launching its ESG solution, Iveda demonstrates a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, emphasising the company's role in promoting a greener future.

IvedaEMS, with its power consumption monitoring and usage pattern insights, empowers customers to reduce their carbon footprint throughout their operations. This granular data equips business leaders with the information they need to make informed decisions regarding energy efficiency, contributing to a more sustainable world.

The deployment of IvedaEMS allows customers to monitor energy usage and leverage real-time data insights to optimise operations for maximum energy efficiency, bringing them closer to achieving net-zero emissions while also realising substantial cost savings.

IvedaEMS, integrated into Iveda's Smart IoT Platform Cerebro, can collect and manage the IvedaSPS (Smart Power Solution) suite, featuring edge servers and smart power meters that can be deployed in various organisational settings, including engineering labs and manufacturing facilities.

The technology enables IvedaEMS' initial customers to gather detailed data on power loops, power usage, and consumption from machines involved in Surface Mount Technology (SMT), Dual In-line Package (DIP), and assembly processes.

Furthermore, IvedaEMS goes beyond energy management by calculating the CO2 PPM (parts per million) count necessary for the enterprise's product manufacturing. It can also send alerts when power usage nears a predetermined threshold, thereby aiding facility managers in mitigating potential power issues.

Iveda CEO and founder David Ly emphasised, "The launch of IvedaEMS underscores Iveda's commitment to building smarter and more environmentally responsible cities. The widespread adoption of our ESG management solution highlights the global applicability of our platform while celebrating our dedication to sustainability and responsible corporate citizenship. We eagerly anticipate supporting businesses worldwide in their quest for a more sustainable future as we tackle pressing environmental challenges together."

Numerous large enterprises, particularly those in sectors like semiconductors, heavy machinery, iron and steel, and petrochemicals, are grappling with stringent environmental regulations and mandatory low-emission standards.

In light of this, Iveda anticipates significant revenue growth of USD 20 million over the next three years within its ESG business segment. The company is already collaborating with several dozen facilities in Taiwan, aiming to deploy IvedaEMS to substantially reduce the nation's carbon footprint.

This product and customer announcement comes on the heels of Iveda's recent partnerships with organisations such as The Arab Organisation for Industrialisation, Valor Healthcare, Movement Interactive, Evergreen Aviation, and NetGain Systems, marking its continued expansion on both domestic and global fronts.

With this endeavour, Iveda solidifies its position as a frontrunner in ESG solutions. As we head into 2024, the company remains committed to developing innovative technologies that empower businesses, from small and medium-sized enterprises to large corporations, to not only meet but surpass their sustainability goals.
