Green Link Digital Bank (GLDB) has started operating in Singapore, providing banking services to micro, small, and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs) and supply chain financing and technology solutions.

GLDB provides accessible commercial banking to underserved firms and is considering expanding its service coverage to the digital economy. In addition, the bank seeks to assist firms in improving their service quality and positioning themselves as a "leader in wholesale banking."

Geng Jing, GLDB chairman, said:

"The commencement of Green Link Digital Bank’s operations in Singapore symbolises a major milestone. It drives to strengthen the core pillars of digitalisation, technological empowerment, and green finance."

Song Qun, Vice-Chairman of GLDB, said the plan would bring cutting-edge technology to small organisations.

He added that the bank was looking into new methods to diversify, such as AI, blockchain, cloud computing, and big data (ABCD) in supply chain financing and incorporating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles to make their business more sustainable.
