Fiskars Group has unveiled a pioneering Sustainability-Linked Bond Framework aimed at harmonising the company's long-term financial strategy with its sustainability objectives.

These bonds' financial features are intricately tied to the accomplishment of two critical environmental goals, specifically the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions emanating from Fiskars Group's own operations (scope 1 and 2) and the percentage of suppliers adhering to scientifically-based emission reduction targets (scope 3).

Fiskars Group's President and CEO, Nathalie Ahlström, underscores the company's purpose, which is to "Pioneer design to make the everyday extraordinary," emphasising the core role that sustainability plays in fulfilling this mission.

Fiskars Group is diligently taking tangible measures to generate a positive impact, and the newly established framework enhances their commitment to activities supporting their transformative journey. Moreover, it plays a pivotal role in raising awareness about their environmental sustainability objectives.

Ahlström further elucidates, "We have chosen two of our environmental targets as key performance indicators (KPIs) of this framework. Setting KPIs to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in line with the 1.5-degree scenario, both within our own operations and throughout our value chain, equips us to efficiently curtail our environmental footprint and emissions."

This Sustainability-Linked Bond Framework adheres to the Sustainability-Linked Bond Principles (SLBP) 2023, overseen by the International Capital Markets Association (ICMA).

The comprehensive Framework, alongside an external second-party opinion by Moody's, is accessible on Fiskars Group's Investor Relations website at www.fiskarsgroup.com/investors.

To establish this Framework, Nordea Bank Abp and OP Corporate Bank plc jointly serve as sustainability structurers, a testament to their commitment to the cause.
