The World Bank gave Colombia a big boost to fight climate change.

They approved a $750 million loan to help the country become more sustainable and reduce its reliance on fossil fuels.

This loan will focus on developing cleaner energy sources like solar and wind power, along with green hydrogen. It will also support improvements in public transportation, making it easier for people to get around without using cars.

Colombia is committed to going green. This is the World Bank's second climate-focused loan to the country in just a few months. In December 2022, they provided a $1 billion loan for similar efforts.
