Interpublic Group (IPG) has been recognised for its work in the areas of environmental, social, and governance (ESG). The various recognitions received by IPG highlight the company's commitment to ESG principles and its efforts to operate responsibly and sustainably.

The company has been included on the Bloomberg Gender Equality Index for four consecutive years, recognising its efforts towards promoting gender equality in the workplace. IPG was also recognised for the first time as a "Top-Rated ESG Performer" by Sustainalytics, reflecting its strong performance in the area of ESG.

Additionally, IPG has been listed on the FTSE4Good Index for four consecutive years, indicating its commitment to sustainable and responsible business practices. The company has also been recognised as one of America's Most Responsible Companies by Newsweek and Statista for two years in a row and as one of America's Best Large Employers and one of the World's Top Female Friendly Companies by Forbes and Statista.

The company's inclusion on the 2023 Bloomberg Gender Equality Index indicates its efforts in reporting gender-related data and promoting gender equality across five key pillars: leadership & talent pipeline, equal pay & gender pay parity, inclusive culture, anti-sexual harassment policies, and external brand.

IPG's recognition as a "Top-Rated ESG Performer" by Sustainalytics highlights its strong performance in ESG practices, as rated by a global leader in ESG research and data. IPG is the only U.S.-based advertising holding company included on the list, demonstrating its commitment to responsible business practices in the industry.

IPG is on the FTSE4Good Index Series for the fourth year in a row, which shows how committed the company is to ESG practices. The global index and data provider FTSE Russell created the FTSE4Good Index Series, which tracks the performance of companies with good ESG practices. It is often used as a benchmark for responsible investment funds and products. IPG's inclusion on the index shows that the company has been independently assessed and meets the criteria for demonstrating strong ESG practices.

IPG's inclusion on Newsweek's "America's Most Responsible Companies 2023" list for the second year in a row reflects the company's commitment to responsible business practices. The list names the 500 most responsible companies in the United States in 14 different industries. It is based on key performance indicators and information from an independent survey of U.S. residents.

“At IPG, we understand that our success is rooted in our ability to deliver to a range of stakeholders while supporting the well-being of our people and the communities in which we live and work,” said Jemma Gould, IPG’s Chief Sustainability Officer. “We are proud to receive recognition for our ESG-related programmes, though we also acknowledge that there is plenty of work left to be done. We look forward to expanding on our progress during the coming year,” she continued.

Finally, the company's inclusion on Forbes and Statista's "America's Best Large Employers 2023" and "World's Top Female Friendly Companies 2022" lists highlights the company's commitment to creating a positive and inclusive work environment.

The "America's Best Large Employers 2023" list is based on a survey of approximately 45,000 American employees and recognises 500 companies across 25 different industry sectors for their efforts in creating a positive work environment.

IPG's inclusion on this list shows that the company is highly rated by its employees for its working conditions and company culture. The list of the "World's Top Female Friendly Companies 2022" is based on a survey of 85,000 women from all over the world. The companies on the list are recognised for their efforts to create a supportive work environment for women, such as through supportive policies and balanced hiring.
