Xaar, a leading inkjet technology company, released its first Sustainability Report.
This report details the company's progress towards its ambitious goals set in its 2030 Sustainability Roadmap.
The report offers a complete look at Xaar's sustainability efforts and upcoming environmental, social, and governance (ESG) initiatives. It clearly shows Xaar's commitment to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2030, along with the positive impact the company has on its customers, suppliers, employees, and local communities.
Here are some of Xaar's key achievements from 2023 highlighted in the report:
Reduced carbon emissions by 2536 tonnes since 2019 (Scope 1 & 2).
Switched to 100% renewable energy for all UK operations.
Raised £71,544 for their UK charity partner Break, with both employee fundraising and a company match.
Provided 5596 hours of continuing professional development (CPD) training for employees.
Harvested 45 jars of honey through their "Plan Bee" project!
The report details dedicated sections for each pillar of Xaar's Sustainability Roadmap: Environment, People, Innovation, and Community. It also showcases the hard work of their ESG and Continuous Improvement teams. Xaar was even a finalist at the 2024 edie Sustainability Awards for their cleanroom decarbonization efforts.
The report also includes case studies demonstrating how their printheads are leading the way with innovative and eco-friendly solutions.
