Flutter is proud to announce that Sisal, Italy’s leading gaming operator and part of the Flutter International division, has outperformed last year's ranking in Morningstar’s Sustainalytics ESG Risk Rating.

The company placed first in the "Casinos and Gaming" sector, second in the "Consumer Services" sector, and within the top 150 of more than 15,000 businesses evaluated globally by Sustainalytics.

In August 2023, Sisal received an ESG Risk Rating of 8.9 and was assessed by Morningstar Sustainalytics to be at negligible risk of experiencing impacts from ESG factors. Morningstar Sustainalytics is a leading ESG research, ratings and data firm that supports investors around the world with the development and implementation of responsible investment strategies.

Sisal's sustainability strategy strongly emphasises its adherence to ethical gaming regulations. It also highlights company governance advancements, business ethics, and people-focused practices. This strategy reflects Flutter’s global Positive Impact Plan and the Group’s ambition to lead the industry on sustainability.

The significant outcome that Sisal is credited with validates the sustainability path that Sisal is taking, which aligns with national and international best practices, developing a framework capable of integrating and enhancing social, environmental, and governance performance to build a more responsible future.
