EcoVadis (Paris, France), a provider of business sustainability ratings, has given Scott Bader (Wellingborough, UK) a gold sustainability rating. Scott Bader was placed in the top 4% of all organisations examined internationally for sustainability.

Scott Bader's sustainability rating has increased from Silver to Gold as a result of the implementation of additional measures to report on environmental management; the introduction of an annual Sustainability Report; the company's commitment to implementing green energy at its sites; and its commitment to reducing emissions by 60% by 2025 and becoming completely carbon neutral by 2028.

Scott Bader also offset its scope 1 and 2 emissions for 2020 last year in collaboration with the World Land Trust. It has pledged to do so every year until it achieves carbon neutrality.

EcoVadis is said to be the largest and most trusted provider of business sustainability ratings in the world. It has created a global network of more than 100,000 companies that have been rated in more than 175 countries and 200 industries.

Scott Bader's performance was evaluated based on 21 metrics organised into four themes: the environment, ethics, labour and human rights, and sustainable procurement.

Scott Bader is committed to being a fully sustainable company by 2036. This means all its operations will have a net positive effect on the environment.
