RWS Wins EcoVadis Silver for Sustainability

EcoVadis, a globally trusted entity for business sustainability ratings with a vast network of over 1,00,000 rated companies, bestowed this honour upon RWS in acknowledgement of its outstanding achievements over the past year.
The silver medal distinction is reserved for the top quartile of companies participating in EcoVadis's global programme. RWS demonstrated exceptional progress, securing an impressive overall score of 66/100, reflecting a noteworthy three-point improvement from the previous year. This accomplishment positions RWS among the top 9% of companies in the 'Other professional, scientific, and technical activities' industry category.
EcoVadis specifically highlighted 111 strengths in RWS's Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) programme for the year, encompassing various aspects such as a robust policy addressing major environmental concerns, endorsement of initiatives like the United Nations Global Compact and Science Based Targets, and a comprehensive labour and human rights policy covering diversity, equity, inclusion, career management, training, social dialogue, working conditions, and employee health and safety.
RWS's commitment to ethics was underscored by comprehensive policies addressing various ethical concerns, along with robust reporting mechanisms for employee grievances and incident response procedures for managing breaches of confidential information. Additionally, the company showcased its dedication to sustainable procurement through comprehensive policies considering both social and environmental factors.
