Odelay Films has announced its recent certification as a Certified B Corporation®, marking a milestone for the production company.

Operating in both the UK and the USA, this accreditation acknowledges Odelay as a B Corp Certified entity within the advertising, broadcast, and production sector.

By joining the ranks of over 8,000 Certified B Corporations spanning 161 industries across 95 countries, Odelay aligns itself with a global movement advocating for an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.

The attainment of this certification follows years of meticulous preparation, a process initiated in 2020. Odelay Films takes immense pride in achieving B Corp status, reflecting its longstanding commitment to conscious business practices for its team, collaborators, and clients alike.

From its inception, Odelay Films has strived to operate as a socially and environmentally conscious entity. The challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic provided an opportunity for reflection, prompting the senior team to reassess their operational strategies and envision their legacy.

This introspection catalysed a journey towards heightened environmental awareness, with Odelay implementing various initiatives to minimise its ecological footprint. By the end of 2021, the company had transitioned to operating as a carbon-neutral business, adopting practices such as using green couriers and offering exclusively vegan catering on set.

Moreover, Odelay expanded its commitment to sustainability by seeking out suppliers and partners who share its values. The company also aims to attract clients who prioritise social, environmental, and economic responsibility.
