Nexteer Automotive has clinched a spot on Newsweek's esteemed roster of America's Most Responsible Companies 2024.

This distinguished accolade, bestowed by Newsweek in collaboration with Statista Inc., a premier statistics portal and industry ranking provider, marks the fourth occasion in the last five years that Nexteer has been lauded for its commendable environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) performance.

The ranking of America’s Most Responsible Companies takes a comprehensive approach to corporate responsibility, encompassing the three crucial facets of ESG. The evaluation is grounded in two primary metrics:

  • KPI Research: The first segment of the in-depth analysis involves Key Performance Indicator (KPI) research. More than 30 KPIs were scrutinised for the top 2,000 public companies in terms of revenue with headquarters in the United States.

  • Public Survey: The second facet of the meticulous analysis is a public survey designed to gauge the corporate social responsibility (CSR) reputation of the companies. A pool of 17,000 U.S. residents participated in the survey, offering insights into their perceptions of companies they were familiar with. Respondents evaluated the CSR performance in general and across the three subdimensions: social, environmental, and governance.

Following these assessments, an overall score was computed for each analysed company, leading to the recognition of the top 600 most responsible companies in the United States across 14 industries.

Expressing satisfaction at this achievement, Robin Milavec, President, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), Executive Board Director, and Chair of the Sustainability Steering Committee at Nexteer Automotive, remarked, “Nexteer is proud to once again be acknowledged for our ESG commitments in Newsweek’s List of America’s Most Responsible Companies for the fourth time in five years.

"Sustainability is integral to realising our vision of being the global leading motion control technology company, propelling mobility towards safety, environmental responsibility, and excitement. Globally, our One Nexteer team collaborates and innovates to develop solutions that contribute to a better tomorrow.”
