Innovation: Demonstrating a dedication to sustainability, 99% of electricity procured in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa is sourced from renewable channels. The company also monitors an impressive 200 billion NetFlow sessions daily, capturing data on the volume and types of traffic traversing its network devices.
Planet: Lumen not only achieved its 2025 science-based greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets well ahead of schedule but surpassed them. With a 25% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions and a 39% reduction in Scope 3 emissions through 2018–2022, the company exceeded its 18% and 10% goals, respectively. Furthermore, Lumen's commitment to environmental responsibility is evident in recycling 1,777 metric tonnes of electronic and communications equipment and reducing landfill waste by over 2,000 metric tonnes.
People: Lumen's employees made a significant impact by contributing over 18,000 volunteer hours. Through the Lumen Clarke M. Foundation's matching and volunteer rewards programme, they collectively donated $1.7 million to over 3,000 non-profits in their communities.
