HSBC Includes Two More ETFs to its Paris Aligned Range
HSBC Holdings plc

HSBC, the investment banking company, has recently announced that it added Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF) to its Paris-Aligned Benchmark (PAB) equity ETF range aiming at decarbonising economies and incorporating net-zero considerations into client portfolios.
The two ETFs will join the other funds in the suite and allow the investors to enhance their social and environmental commitments.
The ETFs consider corporate, forward-looking decarbonisation commitments and focus on companies aligned with the 1.5C goal outlined in the Paris Agreement.
They will come under Article 9 of the EU's Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation, the most stringent in the classification system.
The HSBC MSCI Emerging Markets Climate Paris Aligned Ucits ETF and the HSBC MSCI AC Asia Pacific ex-Japan Climate Paris Aligned Ucits ETF will start trading in London this month, with listings in other European jurisdictions to follow in the coming weeks.
The funds follow the MSCI Emerging Markets Climate Paris Aligned and MSCI AC Asia Pacific ex-Japan Climate Paris Aligned indexes, respectively.
These funds complement the four current HSBC Climate Paris Aligned UCITS ETFs: the HSBC MSCI World, USA, Europe, and Japan funds, launched with the existing PAB Equity ETF range.
