FedEx's commitment to responsible and resourceful practices is evident in its recently released FedEx 2023 Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report. This report sheds light on the company's efforts to transform and connect the world while prioritising Our Planet, Our People, and Our Principles.

The FedEx 2023 ESG Report showcases several noteworthy achievements. One significant accomplishment is the remarkable 48.9% reduction in carbon dioxide emissions intensity on a revenue basis from Fiscal Year 2009 to Fiscal Year 2022. Remarkably, this reduction occurred alongside a substantial 142% increase in average daily package volumes.

Through strategic aircraft modernisation initiatives, FedEx successfully avoided 150 million gallons of jet fuel consumption in FY22, resulting in a reduction of over 10% in total jet fuel usage.

FedEx's dedication to its workforce is evident through programmes like the FedEx Ground Purple Pathways. This workforce career track programme provided mentorship and learning opportunities to over 33,000 frontline team members in collaboration with 1,700 mentors. The programme's impact was recognised when it received the American Transportation Association DEI Change Leader Award.

FedEx's commitment to ethical practices has earned the company recognition as one of Ethisphere's 2023 World's Most Ethical Companies®. This prestigious accolade serves as a testament to FedEx's ongoing efforts to maintain the highest standards of integrity and ethics in its operations.
