Epson has announced that it received the highest possible rating (AAA) from MSCI ESG Ratings.

MSCI ESG Ratings is a respected global index that assesses how companies manage environmental, social, and governance (ESG) risks and opportunities. Companies receive a rating from AAA (best) to CCC (worst) based on their performance in these areas.

Epson credits its commitment to responsible sourcing practices that meet international standards and its improvements in corporate governance and employee development programs in 2023 for this top rating.

Epson's inclusion in key ESG indexes, including MSCI Japan ESG Select Leaders Index, MSCI Japan Empowering Women Index (WIN), and all ESG indices for Japanese companies approved by GPIF, highlights its achievement.

Epson focuses on four key areas for sustainability: achieving a circular economy, driving industrial progress, enhancing quality of life, and fulfilling social responsibility. The company works towards a "value creation story" that outlines how it will address societal challenges and create a positive impact.

Epson's mission is to innovate efficiently and precisely, enriching lives and creating a better world through sustainable practices.
