In a momentous achievement, BioGaia has received a prestigious gold medal from EcoVadis, a renowned global provider of business sustainability ratings.

This recognition marks BioGaia's inaugural assessment by EcoVadis and positions them among the top 5 per cent of companies worldwide.

"This acknowledgement reaffirms our dedication and serves as a driving force for further positive transformation. We take immense pride in being recognised for our sustainable practices and remain committed to advancing health and sustainability hand in hand," declares Jonathan Gromark, BioGaia's Sustainability Manager.

EcoVadis has evaluated more than 85,000 companies on a global scale, employing 21 sustainability criteria across four fundamental themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement.

EcoVadis' business sustainability ratings adhere to international standards such as the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, conventions established by the International Labour Organisation (ILO), Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, and the ISO 26000 standard.
