ASML Holding NV (ASML) has released its 2022 Annual Report, including its ESG Strategy.

The report focuses on the idea of "Small patterns. Big impact." and features contributions from the company's CEO, CTO, and CFO, discussing ASML's financial results, market position, business model, and technology plans. In addition, the report presents its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Sustainability Strategy, assessing achievements in 2022 and outlining plans for the future.

In 2021, ASML launched its ESG Sustainability strategy, which recognises and addresses the company's impact on society. According to ASML's President and CEO, Peter Wennink, the strategy underpins the company's drive to be a responsible organisation and a force for good in the world. ASML is committed to expanding computing power while minimising waste, energy use, and emissions and having a positive impact on employees, the supply chain, everyone involved in the innovation ecosystem, and the communities around them. To achieve this, ASML is fully committed to embedding its responsibilities into the way it does business through integrated governance, engaged stakeholders, and transparent reporting.

The criteria used for preparing the nonfinancial information in the report are the Sustainability Reporting Standards of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), along with the supplemental reporting criteria disclosed in the "About the non-financial information" section of the Annual Report.

ASML plans to submit its 2022 Annual Report in accordance with US GAAP to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and its 2022 Annual Report based on IFRS-EU to the Dutch Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM). The 2022 Annual Reports can be accessed on ASML's website at www.asml.com.
