SUSTAINABLE FASHION YOUTH VOLUNTEER DAY

Fashion is the second most polluting industry in the world after oil. The overconsumption of cheap, fast fashion is having a catastrophic social and environmental impact, but there are things that we can do to create positive change!

Volunteering WA is proud to be partnering with Good Sammy on a special youth volunteering day where you will get a hands-on perspective of the amazing and complex work that goes into recycling discarded fashion. The day will include a tour of Good Sammy’s huge recycling facility, talks by industry experts and a hands-on volunteer experience. You will also hear about how you can get involved in more volunteering and build skills and experiences that will support your path towards future employment.
