Event Description
Many clients have conveyed their prioritization of ESG, expressing it as a significant area of focus. This workshop has been crafted to offer practical, hands-on experience in addressing an ESG crisis. Participants will have the opportunity to strategize with peers from diverse industries.
In the October 2023 pilot workshop, discussions emerged regarding how ESG now poses board-level risks akin to cyber attacks, data breaches, or major health and safety incidents. The workshop shed light on the extensive spectrum of ESG-related challenges businesses may encounter, including disclosure, reputation management, internal investigations, greenwashing, supply chain impacts, whistleblower risks, direct and indirect commercial repercussions, global collaboration, and litigation.
Scheduled for January 31 in their London office from 9:30 to 12:45, with an optional light breakfast at 9:00 and lunch at 12:45, this workshop aims to provide attendees with the chance to strategize with peers and Dentons lawyers on hypothetical ESG-related risks. By the session's conclusion, participants will gain practical steps for immediate implementation. The workshop will cover initial crisis management, recognizing issues, handling critical supply chain risks, managing potential FCA investigations, brand protection, and litigation strategies.
Attendees are encouraged to register their interest. If unable to attend or seeking a customized session for their team, further options can be discussed. The organizers anticipate your participation and look forward to welcoming attendees in January.
