ESG and Sustainability Reporting Conference 2024

Event Description

ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) reporting is now high on the radar of businesses around the world with 79% of leading global companies providing reports last year. Many other organisations are still navigating the overwhelming challenge of creating their own sustainability strategies, identifying their main business impacts, and reporting on this through voluntary and mandatory frameworks.

Regulations are continually evolving, most recently with the adoption of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) by the European Council and the mandatory requirement for climate change reporting under the standards set out by the Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) for all FTSE 350 companies.

ESG reporting is now required for major UK companies that are publicly listed (PLCs) or a private business whose annual turnover exceeds £500 million, or who have more than 500 employees. For medium and smaller businesses where most reporting isn’t yet mandatory, many are seeing pressure from investors, stakeholders, customers, employees and consumers to understand their ESG impact with regulation also expected to require all businesses to report in coming years. Are you prepared? Do you have the right skills and resources in place to lead on sustainability?
