Learn more about the social aspects of sustainability, join workshops and get to know multiple sustainability-related student organizations!

Our annual event, the Day of Sustainability, is back! Join us on Tuesday the 21st of November to learn more about sustainability and get to know numerous Delft-based student organizations that make a sustainable impact. 

This year’s theme is ‘Politicktack – why it’s time for inclusive sustainability policy now’.

We have invited some amazing speakers and experts who will share their views and knowledge about the social aspects of sustainability policy. What economic consequences this policy brings and how it affects minority groups, will be a central topic of the presentations and discussion panel. 

Speaker list: 

• Lena Hartog - Constructive activist for ecological and social justice
• Paula de Beer - Living wage expert for improving conditions in the global garment industry
• Nihit Goyal - Researcher in policy innovation for the sustainable energy transition in the Global South
• Camilo Benitez Avila - Postdoctoral researcher exploring the ethical implications of critical raw materials in the energy transition within historically colonized regions

The day will be moderated by Cecilia Adorée, actress and podcast creator of 'Climate Therapy'.
