Climate Actions in Cities and Towns: Climate Resilience Event Happening in Cologne (DE) (July 9-11, 2025)

Event Description

As global climate efforts slow down and national governments shift focus, local areas like cities and towns are becoming the main forces driving climate action. They are tackling important tasks such as reducing energy poverty, creating local heating and cooling systems, and preparing for climate change at the community level.

Cities also play a central role in encouraging people to take climate action and forming international partnerships. The 2025 Climate Alliance International Conference (CAIC25) in Cologne will highlight real examples of local successes and challenges. It offers a chance to learn how regions across Europe are stepping up to lead on climate.
