Carbon Removal Conference

Negative emissions are an important part of IPCC report to keep global temperature rise within 2°C.

The Netherlands has no objectives, ambitions or policy in the field of Negative Emissions. During this interactive working conference, we will bring stakeholders together to:

• map out carbon removal options,
• Provide insight into the most important components for a Carbon Removal roadmap
• To draw up a recommendation for the Dutch government

We will do this on the basis of five solutions:

1. BECCS & Waste incinerators
2. Direct Air Capture & Storage
3. CO2 storage through smart land use
4. Biobased materials for construction
5. Local biochar production and application
