Company Summary

Portland General Electric Company (PGE) is a vertically-integrated electric utility company. The Company is engaged in the generation, wholesale purchase, transmission, distribution, and retail sale of electricity in the state of Oregon. PGE’s generating resources consist of six thermal plants, three wind farms, and seven hydroelectric facilities. The Company has five natural gas-fired generating facilities: PW1, PW2, Beaver, Coyote Springs Unit 1 (Coyote Springs), and Carty Generating Station (Carty). PGE owns and operates two wind farms, Biglow Canyon Wind Farm (Biglow Canyon) and Tucannon River Wind Farm (Tucannon River). The Company’s hydroelectric projects consist of Pelton/Round Butte on the Deschutes River near Madras, Oregon (discussed below), four plants on the Clackamas River, and one on the Willamette River.
