The Legal & General Future World ESG Europe ex UK Index Fund, Legal & General Future World ESG Japan Index Fund, Legal & General Future World ESG North America Index Fund, and Legal & General Future World ESG Asia Pacific Index Fund are among the funds included in the suite. LGIM said it plans to develop a fifth product in the portfolio, giving investors further exposure to emerging markets.
The new indexes are based on ESG indices that include a carbon emissions reduction trajectory and a sustainable investment methodology, as well as exclusions, ESG scoring, and decarbonization factors. It's for clients who wish to show their commitment to ethical investing through a variety of equity methods. The Future World family of products includes index tracker funds as well as investments in stocks, bonds, and commercial real estate.
