Huize Sets Up ESG Committee For Sustainable Development

Huize Holding Limited made an announcement that its Board of Directors has decided to establish an Environmental, Social and Governance committee aimed at improving the company's ESG performance, disclosure and sustainable development.

The Secretary of the Board and senior management members from core operational and administrative areas make up the ESG Committee. The ESG Committee will be responsible for creating ESG objectives and goals, identifying and analysing ESG risks and impacts, and managing the Company's ESG efforts and practises, all under the direction of the Board. Meanwhile, to enable a more efficient and aligned execution, the Company will establish an ESG Office and a corresponding working group.

"As one of the forerunners in promoting ESG practises in the online insurance industry, we published our first ESG report earlier this year, highlighting Huize's strategic ESG initiatives and accomplishments to create a long-term sustainable and environmentally friendly business," said Mr Cunjun Ma, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Huize.
